OK, I don't know where to start with this one.
First we have the chimpanzee attack in Connecticut, which some people think is bizarre, but I think is just another case of "maybe it's not a good idea to have a wild exotic animal as a pet".
Also, I keep thinking of this: "Travis attacked 55-year-old Charla Nash as Sandra Herold frantically stabbed her beloved pet with a butcher knife and pounded him with a shovel."

The hunter in me says that perhaps stabbing and beating a wild animal that's already pissed off isn't a good idea. Even my 10 year old daughter knows that a wounded animal will fight even harder to survive.
Then there's the other factor of this attack probably could have been stopped earlier if someone had a firearm.
The real bizarre part is how 'friendly' the owner was with her 'pet'.
ANYWAY, then comes the 'Chimp Cartoon' controversy.

I agree with Michelle Malkin:
"The only people “offended by the image” of the crazed cartoon chimp — who clearly symbolized the crazed lawmakers on the Hill who passed the stimulus in a frenzy — are the opportunists. "
And BTW, didn't we just go through 8 years of "Chimpy the Prez", "Chimpy McHitler", "Chimpy McFlightsuit", "Chimpy McHitlerburton", "Chimpy McStupid", "Curious George", etc....?
Just another Democratic double standard I guess.
